NECA Awards High School Star – is NECA Award’s initiative, designed to unearth talented high school students in the NORTH EAST Region (NER), who are aiming to start a career in Art and Entertainment such as music, filmmaking, fashion, modeling, acting, sports, media and among others.

It aims to offer a safe guide and industry mentorship to young students in order to help develop and maximize their careers in art and entertainment.

The platform will offer senior high schools in NER the opportunity to push their favorite school stars to the limelight through nominations. The student with the most nominations and artistry qualities will be shortlisted to represent each senior high school in the NER, who will then be evaluated to determine a winner.

• Nominate your favorite high school star by creating a social media post and hashtag him/her, tag NECA Award’s official social media pages as well as the hashtags #HighSchoolStar and #necaawards.
• The student with the most nominations from each senior high school within the NER will be shortlisted to represent the school.

Note: Your post must capture the student’s name, area of craft (e.g. musician, actor, model, etc), and the name of the school he/she will be representing.

The winner will be determined based on;

• • Evaluation of their talent, craft, and abilities.
  • Public voting – (free voting).
  • NECA Awards academy panel judgment.

The winner will take away;

• • A citation at the main NECA Awards night
  • A two (2) week mentorship with an ace/legend with his/her craft.
  • Professional production and promotion of a song for musicians and cash prizes for other crafts aside from music.
